10 May 2008 - Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans
Hey everyone!
It's been a while, hasn't it? A few months have flown by like a few hours... crazy.
I haven't had time to update the site, but it doesn't mean I never will. In a month or two I'll have my free time to do just that.
But just a little bit on Craig Parker that I'm sure we all know about already... my friend Priscilla informed me a little while ago that he'll have a small role in an upcoming film "Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans". A role as significant as Haldir in LotR I reckon, but a role nonetheless! Here's waiting for yet another film to be released with our special man in it.

Hey everyone, lack of updates even NOW I know. It's really hectic this time of the year when we all have to attend parties, shop for gifts, shop when there's Boxing Day sales like the cheap asses we are, hang out, all that social stuff. Well I know I'm a day (almost two) late on this, but Blessed Yule (or Merry Christmas) to ALL those who are in any way associated with my site, whether you are a good friend of mine, an affiliate or just a humble visitor! I appreciate all of you equally and I wish you all an amazing holiday!

19 Dec 2007 - An update, WOW
That's right folks I am ALIVE as anything.
This update thing was screwed up for a little while, so I had to have that fixed. It didn't last too long though.
I have been SO busy these past few months, it's ridiculous. Hopefully I'll be more free after February, as my school subjects' difficulty will loosen up.
I've still been floating around every day though, I just had no time to update.
Well anyway, there have been quite a few new additions, let's go ahead and look at them ;)
I'm sure we've all heard already, but Craig and Shorty Street was featured on NZ's Dec 1-7 TV Guide mag, and ladies and gents... I ordered it just for you ;)
I scanned all the pages in the mag with Craig that I'd like to share. I'll copy the article and post it in its own section here later on.

After having this layout for ages, I may change it over the winter break... not too drastically, but probably just the colour and add another column on the right or something. I'm not too sure yet myself, but that's probably something to anticipate.

28 Oct 2007 - A Recipe... (among other things...)
...for Lembas!
I thought it'd be nice to share a recipe with everyone, since I constantly make successful lembas. *nod*

I have an interesting lembas story to share... actually's it's more just general baking accidents. It really had nothing to do with the actual lembas. Well anyway last night I was baking lembas with my sister, Faodhagáin. She went downstairs to grab a couple of more recipes that we could fiddle with and left me to watch the lembas bake. After a while, I thought I'd take it out to do the criss-crossing, and I had only my oven mitt on my right hand. So all right, I took the tray out using my right hand, and I found it a bit heavy. I forgot that the tray was actually HOT, and I instinctively stuck out my left hand and took a firm hold of the side of the tray. And right then, I realised, "Oh my gosh, I'm mental!" and I whipped my excruciatingly painful and burnt left palm from the tray. Of course it was already pretty nastily burnt, and now I have a raw patch of burn on my left palm... it hurt SO badly when I first removed it from the cold water though... ugh.

Sorry for the lack of updating, my dear visitors... I promise I'll have something interesting up soon. There's just so much happening offline right now for me... but I'm still around guys, I come on my own site a few times a day to check for messages on the tagboard and my fanlistings. So no, Haldir is not dead. Neither of us are ;-D
And I apologize for my last update about my affiliates... I was speaking of those who requested affiliation with me and never spoke to me at all after that, or who even glanced at my site after requesting affiliation. But to my occasional/frequent visiting affiliates, thank you so much for your time in popping in and out so friendlily. ♥
I also posted Latin lyrics to the default song on my last update... many have requested an English translation of it. I'll obtain one, and as soon as I do, I will post it up ;-) I don't personally know Latin, but I have friends who do and who would probably do the translation for me later on. :-)
I've also just won two new awards from Unfortunate Awards. Have a look! :-)

Yeah seriously.
A whole load of things have been mysteriously disappearing from my site, the layouts have been rewinding to look like how it did last week (that might not make much sense, but I know what I'm talking about), my coding has been randomly chopping itself in half and removing a half, and bits and pieces have been vanishing from it, things have been auto-deleting without my help and half of my CSS has just mysteriously multiplied on its own and messed up the rest of it. If you spot something a little... out of the ordinary or any sort of glitch, please e-mail me to report it as quickly as you see it. Thank you!
Oh, and to add to that, I've replaced the old e-mail form with a new one... it's now PHP and no longer Response-O-Matic, so you won't get this annoyingly huge 'processing' thing when you submit mail to me. :-)
I'm also thinking of starting either a separate site-award site (still a part of HaldirOfLorien.com though) or a separate graphic-challenge site. Opinions on either would be lovely!

It's really untitled.
Not much has been going on around HOL.com, unfortunately, nor have my Craig Parker news-seeking skills improved. We have SOMETHING new, and that's a few awards won. Four, to be exact.
This site has been the happy owner of a great many completely new fanlistings of late (yeah, I get really bored), so if one of them interests you, then please... join! :-P

Yep, I've managed to squeeze a new page into my time! Actually it took me about half a minute to make... 
New page is: Craig Parker Avatars. I've put in four avatars, all of which are extremely old; I made them all about a year ago. I know they aren't the most excellent things on earth to look at, but I'll have something nicer up later on.
Also two new affiliates:
... none other than the only Gildor Inglorion fanlisting on the web, run by HOL.com... this site! It's completely new, so new members are absolutely welcome.
... really pretty Tolkien site with some LotR graphics and some of the nicest Tolkien poetry. Check it out!
I'm also obsessing over a song... "Two Horizons" by Máire Brennan. I'd upload the song for people to download if anyone's interested... but I doubt anyone is. The ending part of it is BEAUTIFUL though. I'm totally in love with it. I'm considering cutting out the ending part of the song and make a Haldir fan video out of it... it's about 01:11 minute long, so that should be perfect, since there aren't many Haldir clips.
